About Livia
I grew up in Brazil, where music is plenty and rich. So understandably, I had many flings growing up… I marched in the school’s military band with my clarinet, played System of a Down on the cello, and rescued a lonely ukulele at a garage sale to make it my friend. But with the piano, it was love at first sight…
The piano is a gentle giant who speaks its own language. Learning to communicate with it demands time and dedication. It tests your patience, forces you to confront insecurities, and a few tantrums now and then are unavoidable (:
In my own education, I was an eager little nerd, crazy about technique and metronome work. My biggest obstacle was never the lack of discipline or passion, but the fears and anxieties that surround the Classical Music world. The many teachers and peers insinuating “you are too old, too shy, and just not enough”. Learning to get around those fears was a long journey, and my priority as a tutor is to hush any unwelcome voice that might pop up in my students’ heads.

I am based in Watford Junction, London, and I am available for online or in person lessons, including teaching at your house, if that suits you better.
. What are the fees?
1 hour - £30
45 minutes - £23
30 minutes - £16
If lessons at your own house are better suited for you, there is an increase in those prices, depending on your location, so please contact me and we can discuss details.

Perfect! Livia is the best. So friendly and welcoming. Goes at a pace that is comfortable but pushes you to grow
Perfect! This teacher is very enthusiastic,fun and honest. She would make a very great tutor, but sadly we had to cancel our lessons due to her full schedule. But I'd love to learn from her, bcz she makes your lessons very interesting even at the beginning of your session. I Recommend this tutor to everyone as she's very fun and entertaining!
