About Chris
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Brigham Young University, where I developed a strong foundation in classical and contemporary fine art practices. With university-level experience teaching drawing courses, I specialize in helping students master fundamentals such as observation, proportion, shading, sketching and line quality, composition, and dynamics.
In addition to my academic and teaching background, I bring over 25 years of professional experience as a designer, giving students real-world insight into visual communication, problem-solving, and creative discipline. This blend of fine art training and decades of industry experience allows me to teach both strong technical foundations and practical application, helping students develop skills that are expressive, refined, and relevant.
