About Nahal
My name is Nahal Taebnia, and I am a passionate artist and tutor based in Newbury. My journey in art began in childhood, and I have pursued it professionally since studying at an art-focused secondary school, later gaining a Diploma in Graphic Design and further certificates from international art institutions in different fields of art. Over the years, my work has been exhibited in galleries and my most recent oil painting collection was published in Miss Magazine. Alongside creating art, I have also been teaching private students for 4 years, guiding them to discover their creativity and develop strong drawing and painting skills. I specialise in sketching, graphite pencil, coloured pencil, and oil painting, and my teaching style is both practical and encouraging. Students often tell me they appreciate the relaxed and friendly atmosphere in my lessons, where they can experiment, make progress, and feel motivated without pressure. I believe that every piece of art tells a story about people, mindsets, feelings, and experiences. For me, art is much deeper than paint on a canvas; it is a way of expressing the things we cannot always say with words. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate learner, I adapt my teaching to your needs and create a personalised path so you can achieve your artistic goals step by step.

My lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate learners who want to build strong artistic skills in a practical and enjoyable way. I believe that anyone can learn to draw and paint if they start with the right fundamentals, so I focus on techniques such as line, shading, perspective, colour, and composition. These foundations give you the confidence to draw and paint anything from everyday objects to portraits and figures. Unlike conventional classes that can feel slow and repetitive, my approach is flexible and creative. If you want, you can even begin exploring portraits in your very first term. Every student receives a personalised roadmap that adapts to their pace and interests, making the learning process inspiring and tailored to your goals. Each lesson lasts 1 hour and combines clear demonstrations, guided practice, and constructive feedback. I also provide optional homework and practice tips for students who wish to continue developing their skills between sessions. With a Diploma in Graphic Design, certificates from international art institutions including fashion design and illustration, and experience exhibiting my work in galleries, I bring both professional knowledge and personal passion into teaching. My oil painting collection was recently published in Miss Magazine, and I have over four years of experience tutoring private art students. Whether you are picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to refine your technique, my classes offer a supportive, creative space where you can develop solid skills, explore your artistic style, and create artworks you can be proud of.
