About Vladislav
I had classical Piano lessons as a kid back in Moscow, Russia and
rediscovered guitar & bass many years later when I arrived to Australia. I had taught myself and completed a Certificate IV in training & assessment & Diploma of Music at MWT Institute in Melbourne.
Furthermore I have taught guitar at Caulfield Music Centre a few years ago.
More recently I have ben teaching students of all ages privately. I cater to styles of
Rock, Pop, Metal, Funk, Blues, Slide guitar, Beginner Jazz,
My expertise are improvisation & song writing!
Have a current WWC working with children check.
I have been recording original songs & instrumentals for a few years.

My teaching methods vary from student to student.
I understand the importance of listening skills and empathy when teaching and interacting with the students. I strive to be a clear communicator. I strive to make the learning process to be engaging & fun with activities and getting the student to participate in the lesson, instead of being a passive observer.
On a few occasions at Caulfield Music Centre I had to teach students with learning disabilities.
I would cater my approach to allow the student to learn at their own pace. If it was a young student, I would usually discuss their progress with their parents. Of course I also had students from different cultures and thus I was aware on how to run the lessons accordingly. I definitely had to prepare activities, keep theory simplified in some situations and be patient in some cases.
