About Alyssa
Hi! I’m a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) student at the University of Pittsburgh with nearly a decade of experience in healthcare and allied health settings, including physical therapy, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, sports performance, and chiropractic offices. I specialize in helping health science and pre-health students truly understand anatomy, physiology, spinal anatomy, and clinical reasoning — not just memorize it. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts, connecting structure to function, and teaching you how to think through exam questions with confidence. As a graduate-level student myself, I understand the pressure of heavy course loads, cumulative finals, and practical exams. I help students develop efficient study strategies, exam-specific review plans, and long-term retention skills that actually work for demanding programs.
