About Riya

I am a teacher intern currently pursuing B.Ed from Lady Irwin College and have experience of teaching in all subjects from class 1st to 5th and science from 6th-10th class and also home science and also have a good command in teaching languages Hindi and English

About the lesson

The teaching methodology is based on more discussion type through discussion I can explain to the child a topic so that a dialogue is created as in today's time a child is not a blank slate; he is also having some previous knowledge. Through the previous knowledge of the child, I build the knowledge of the topic which I want to teach. I believe more in interaction rather than having just a monologue in which only the teacher is speaking. I explain the concepts in context with their daily life experiences and examples so that it is simpler and easier to understand. Science, the subject which every child fears, I relate science with examples of their daily life experience to make it easier and interesting.
