About Heather
I have been teaching Drama and English in secondary schools around the Hastings area for over thirty years. I have written many schemes of work: KS3, 4 and 5 and taught GCSE, AS and A Level. Many of my students have gone to university.

My teaching style is simple. It is about communication and challenge: using the three-part structure to show development, underpinned by questioning and evaluation. That means a step by step approach, tasks are broken down with reflective checking so that the learning is understood on the way.
Drama lessons are practical, based on practitioners' theoretical concepts and allowing for personal response and development.
