About Kaleb

Hello, I am Professor Kaleb.
Since I was little, stories have accompanied me. In good times, in bad times and in those that enter both. The stories are born of a necessary escape; we live in complicated and irregular times. But also, unconsciously, that escape is a reflection of us. How we see the world. And what better than those ideas, those stories, these escapes find a home in the written word.
How to make our minds help other minds to imagine? We will learn that process together.
Here we will read and write according to our tastes.

About the lesson

I am an intern for the Dramatic Literature and Theater degree. I specialize in the area of Playwrite.
I want to share the tools acquired in the semesters of the degree, in addition to the experience in creative writing, to provide the specific keys to learn to write.

My teaching method it's from a humanistic approach, where I give priority to listening, self-criticism, reflection and continuous learning. Everyone learns at their own pace and when they enter in the class they will be at the same level.

The important thing is how well the student knows himself and his perception of the world, so he can express his interests in what he wants to write. Otherwise, here you will learn how to do it.

They will be theoretical-practical classes where each student will learn the theoretical bases of the structure of a text from its reading and analysis. Likewise, you will be able to release your narrative voice through exercises and master it to apply it to more complex creations.

During class, slides with the topics will be presented, which will be commented on by the class; Exercises will be left to put into practice what has been seen and at the end a reflection on what has been learned will be requested. In certain sessions, the students will present progress of their exercises to the other members of the group, who will give feedback to their classmates.

A final work will be delivered at the end of the course and a brief individual review will be made of each student on their own learning.

It is desirable that students attend 80% of the sessions since in each session progress will be discussed and the absence would cause the learning to be incomplete.

These courses are aimed at all levels, but the ideal is for students to take the upper secondary level or higher. This seeks to maintain a balance of criteria among the enrolled students.
