About Mia
I am a passionate History of Art student with a minor in Anthropology, currently studying at University College London (UCL). My main interests are post-war and contemporary art and the process of decolonisation of the museum space.
I am constantly expanding my knowledge by pursuing different courses, such as Sotheby's History of Art Course, and finding new scholar and media sources to make the process of learning more dynamic. My method of a 'flipped classroom' is a very effective technique, which I have experienced myself during the preparation for my high-school exams. I believe that in order to achieve the best result, the tuition session should be both productive and engaging and the flipped classroom system allows to not only learn the basics of the topic but also helps the student to understand it in detail.

I offer tuition in the Art History A-Level and Film Studies A-Level, and also happy to help develop general knowledge in art history :)
My method is based on the more effective idea of a 'flipped classroom', where the student is going through the new material at home first, and then in our session, we are going through the material more in-depth and answer all the questions together. In our online sessions, we will be going through various forms of media, like texts, videos, and podcasts, to enhance the understanding of the subject we are currently working on (in addition to the core course). All lessons are tailored to the needs of the student.
