About Emma
With over 13 years of experience, I specialise in teaching singing to college students, helping them strengthen their technique and artistic expression. I focus on breath control, pitch, vocal tone, and performance skills, while encouraging creativity and individuality.
I combine traditional methods with innovative approaches such as vocal improvisation, recording feedback, and practical song exercises. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning style, goals, and pace, ensuring steady improvement and enjoyable progress.
Performance is an important part of my teaching. I guide students in stage presence, expressive delivery, and building confidence for recitals, auditions, and competitions. I also integrate music theory and ear training to develop a well-rounded understanding of music.
I encourage exploration of different genres and styles, helping students develop their personal voice. Over the years, I have helped students succeed in performances while nurturing a lifelong love for music.
My teaching philosophy emphasises communication, patience, and accountability. I aim to make every lesson inspiring, motivating, and transformative for every student.
