I've earned both an MFA: Painting and a BFA: Sculpture/ Printmaking. Both degrees required a heavy Art History focus, which I have taught at a museum and assisted instructors during graduate school.

We will look at lots of images. Like, a lot. We will compare historical events of the time to the motivation/ philosophy of the artists in their respective times.
We can look at individual artists, or specific movements/ groups, or survey the historical trajectory of a medium of your choice.
