About Javier
I'm a Literature teacher from Uruguay, I lived and taught Spanish in New York for more than 20 years. I founded Universidad Desconocida, a teaching institution where our teachers were some of the best writers in Spanish language living in New York or visiting to teach: Lina Meruane, Marcelo Cohen, Naief Yehya, Julio Chang, etc.

My classes are 2 in 1. I teach Spanish reading short stories from the best writers in Spanish Language: Borges, Cortázar, Bioy, Onetti, Schweblin, Luiselli, Rulfo, Saer, Cohen, Chejfec, etc.
