About Nomfuneko
I will be able to select and adjust learning resources that are appropriate for the age, language competence and culture of my learners. I will make sure that I design original learning resources such as charts, models, handouts or worksheet and other suitable learning texts. these resources differ with subject and are appropriate, they are also cognisant of barriers to learning. Because there are different learners in a diverse classroom, I will make sure that I am sensitive to their different needs cater for them accordingly. During my English class some of the learners were not able to read on the board so I made them handouts with the same information at the board, this made it easier for them to engage in the lesson. Group works and working in pair were the most effective strategies I used to check my learners understanding of the content taught. And I will always use them to implement this role as a teacher.
I always make sure that my voice projection is always on point. I always teach my learners in a form of a game; this makes my lessons fun and interesting. For example, during the directions lesson, a learner world explains the route he/she uses to go to the toilet while his/her partner follow that route, this made it easy for them to read and give directions and point out landmarks and signs. This made me view the classroom as a place to engage all my learners and not even one learner was left out.

I believe that the classroom is a living community in which everyone, from the principal to the kids to the parents, has a role to play in maintaining a positive climate. I'll employ tactics like the morning meeting, positive vs. negative punishment, classroom tasks, and problem-solving abilities to ensure that our classroom community thrives. A classroom should be a safe, caring environment where children may express themselves, blossom, and flourish. Every student in the classroom is an individual with their own distinct manner of doing things and learning. As a result, I use a variety of teaching strategies in my classroom to ensure that no kid is left behind. Effective instruction draws everyone together. Every student, instructor, and thinker in my class contributes in some way. I learn as much from them as they do from me. Another way I instil this mentality in my pupils is to solicit regular input from them as well as their parents. Students provide comments as to whether or not classes I provide are beneficial to them, and if they are not, I make sure to address the areas where I am lacking. The students I've been teaching have been extremely helpful in providing feedback on what works and what doesn't in class, which I've used to improve.
