Spanish can be hard, I know. But don't worry, it all depends on how you look at it :)
My name is Rocío, I was born in Spain, spent two years of my life living in the States, worked for 4 years with the UK and Ireland and am now living the Aussie experience! One of the years I lived in the US, I was there as a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language in Massachusetts, at the College of the Holy Cross.
What my job consisted on was leading the practicum classes. In other words: making students talk even if they didn't even know how to say "hola". I was amazed by the results. In Spain, the teaching of languages is focused on grammar, repeating and copying and studying for an exam and forgetting everything the following day.
I teach different. I want you to talk since minute one, I want to help you learn ONLY through speaking. There are different types of learning, and languages have to be learnt while having fun. If not, it simply does not work.
