About Diketso

I am Boroko Diketso and I am currently a student at the University of Johannesburg. Pursuing my Bachelor of Education degree made me fall in love more with the principles of teaching, how people learn best and how I can best support learners to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

The classroom environment often uses the grammar translation method for learning a new language, which focuses on the memorization of vocabulary and grammar rules. In my classroom, we will use the natural approach which focuses more on the learning of speaking a new language (English).

Diketso has been the best tutor to my niece. My niece could not speak or understand English but in less than a month we were able to Diketso's good work. My niece can now read, write and speak English with confidence. What I love about her is that she is always on time and prepared. When she explains concepts she makes examples with real life situations and make sure the person understands. She is patient, understanding and very good with children. I recommend her because I have seen her work and it's amazing.
