About Adam
Hi, I’m Adam, a second-year BA Education student at Solent University with a genuine passion for teaching and supporting learners. I believe learning should feel positive, encouraging, and accessible, and I always aim to create a calm and welcoming environment in my lessons. I have experience working with both children and adults from a range of backgrounds, and I understand that everyone learns differently. I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to adapt my teaching to suit individual needs and confidence levels. I take time to plan lessons carefully and make sure learners feel supported and understood. I hold an enhanced DBS, which helps ensure a safe and appropriate learning experience, particularly for younger learners. As someone training to become an educator, I’m always developing my skills and using up-to-date teaching approaches to make lessons engaging and meaningful. Whether you’re a parent looking for support for your child or an adult wanting to build confidence in English, I aim to make learning enjoyable, supportive, and tailored to you.

My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to each learner. I adapt my teaching to different learning styles, confidence levels, and goals, using a mix of discussion, practical activities, visuals, and structured practice to keep lessons engaging. I focus strongly on differentiation, adjusting activities and explanations to suit the learner’s age and level. For younger children, lessons may include games and interactive activities, while older learners and adults may focus more on conversation, reading, writing, grammar, or confidence-building. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility for younger learners if needed. I also offer a trial lesson so learners can see if my teaching style is the right fit. I am a second-year BA Education student at Solent University with experience tutoring primary school children and English as a Foreign Language learners from different backgrounds. Lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults at a range of levels.
