About Lauren
I have been working as an early education support teacher for three years, and I was a preschool teacher for five years beforehand. I have my bachelors degree in early education and psychology, and am currently receiving my masters degree in mental health counseling for children and adolescents.
I was also a student in elementary school once too! I know how challenging reading and writing was, and how so many educators did not even attempt to understand the best ways that I learn.

I make an effort to learn the individual needs of each student, and I make it enjoyable so they will stay engaged!
Each lesson I plan will consist of what my student needs, and we will keep practicing until I know are ready to move onto the next level.
I will supply worksheets that are engaging and offer literacy, reading and writing games that can be played at home even after the tutoring session is over!
Learning should be fun and that’s what I strive for with every student.
