About Marcus
I am a native Washingtonian and have been a lifelong educator and learner. I have taught 2nd-8th grade students in the DC Metro area. Many of my students have come to our class well below their grade level but were on grade level by the end of the school year. I seek to bring joy to the classroom or to any academic session.

I love to have fun regardless as to what challenge I am undertaking with my students. I feel it is easier to learn when things are more enjoyable. I also value getting to know each and every one of my students on a personal level. I try to take away the "barrier" that naturally comes in a student-teacher relationship, while still being aware of the necessary boundaries that must exist in order for our relationship to be strong and to flourish during our time together.
