About Paul
I have been teaching guitar for 28 years. I am also a professional jazz and blues musician and have played at various music festivals. I have taught many students over the years and have 100% pass rate in rock school, GCSE and A-Level performance exams.

In my approach to teaching I want the student to be able to understand the fundamentals of the guitar. Every person has individual needs, I tailor my lessons specifically to improve their performance capabilities. Whether this is through teaching them how to pass their exams with exercises and techniques to improve their playing. Covering styles from basic rock guitar playing to advanced rock, blues and jazz playing showing them how to unlock the neck of the guitar via scales, chords and arpeggios and understanding harmony and how it relates to the guitar. I have taught young children through to adults with all levels of abilities.
