About Soham
I am an Electrical and Computer Engineer with master’s degrees from India and the United States, currently working in the semiconductor industry. My work focuses on digital design, processor architecture, and hardware modeling. Through my academic journey and industry experience, I have developed a strong interest in understanding how modern chips and computing systems are designed.
During my studies and professional work, I realized that many students find it difficult to connect textbook concepts with real industry practices. Topics like VLSI design, computer architecture, RISC-V, and HDL languages often appear complex because they are not always taught with practical context. This motivated me to start sharing my knowledge and experiences with students who want to build careers in chip design.
The semiconductor industry is growing rapidly, especially in India, with increasing investments, new research centers, and opportunities in chip design and hardware development. As this field expands, there is a strong need for engineers who have both solid fundamentals and practical understanding of digital systems.
My goal is to help students build that strong foundation. I aim to simplify complex concepts, explain how things work in real chip design environments, and guide students toward careers in the semiconductor industry.
