I like to adapt my teaching style to students learning style and specific needs. For STEM subjects I find lots of example problems and conceptual explanation by tangible analogies to be the most reliably successful methods for advancing a student's conceptual understanding. I don't believe in making students do anymore work than is necessary for them to grasp concepts.
