My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Methodology
As an aspiring electrical engineering student with a strong passion for mathematics, I focus on making complex concepts simple and relatable. My teaching approach is highly student-centred: I tailor each lesson to suit the learning style and pace of the individual.
I break down challenging topics into manageable steps, use real-world examples to bring abstract concepts to life, and encourage active participation to ensure the student fully understands the material. My goal is to not only help students excel academically but also build their confidence and foster a deeper understanding of the subject.
Typical Lesson Length and Pricing
Each lesson typically runs for 60 minutes, priced at $45 per hour. I am happy to adjust lesson duration based on the student’s needs or preferences.
My Qualifications and Experience
I have recently completed Year 12, excelling in Mathematical Methods and Further Mathematics. I was awarded academic excellence awards in these subjects at my high school, recognising my dedication and achievement in these areas. I’m now pursuing a career in electrical engineering. I’ve also helped peers understand challenging maths topics, guiding them to achieve their academic goals through patience, clarity, and encouragement.
