About Jess
I have been a student of engineering at the University of Southampton since 2018. I am currently in my 3rd year. I have previous experience in tutoring maths at GCSE level to several students twice a week for a year. I did both private and group tutoring in this time. They all passed their GCSE maths in the year I was tutoring them.
I have an A* in maths at GCSE, a B in A-Level further maths and an A in A-Level core maths. I also have an A in GCSE physics and an A in A-Level physics.

I tailor the session to the individual student and their needs, and I try to encourage students to do as much as they can before I intervene. I tend not to give answers straight away, but to make students talk me through how they would solve the problem. I do a lot of visual learning. I value hard work over talent. I am very patient with students and I am happy to help with general revision that the student requests to do, or homeworks.
