Super Tutor

Jan is one of our best Maths tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Jan

I understand how challenging secondary school can be, especially when you're given projects with minimal guidance. Through focused, comprehensive sessions, I can help you understand difficult concepts, improve problem-solving skills, and build confidence in areas where you're struggling.

As a Mock Corrector, I have corrected over 100 Engineering mock exams and have first-hand knowledge of the common mistakes that cost students valuable marks.

Having achieved 95% in both Leaving Certificate Engineering and Physics after averaging just 40–50% in 5th year, I understand the challenges students face and the methods that can help them improve significantly.

I will teach you the techniques, exam strategies, and approaches that maximise marks while making questions easier to understand and tackle with confidence.

About the lesson

Typical length of a lesson ranges from 45-60 minutes. Experience in tutoring Physics, Engineering, and Maths at both levels. Lessons are aimed at Junior and Leaving Certificate students. Engineering tutoring is mainly revolved around the project to help maximize grade. Students will receive a copy of my project portfolio and will be provided advice to stand out to the examiner.

Since I am done with my college semester, my availability has increased over the summer. Notes are provided with lessons!

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Jan.

Jan was in my Engineering Class. I Couldn’t recommend Jan enough. Jan helped me improve my Engineering portfolio drastically. Jan guided me through me through the portolio in a simple and clear manner. He broke down where the marks were given and how to have the best shot at getting them.

Jan is an old friend of mine from school that is super talented and smart academically. He is amazing at teaching as he helped me prepare for my own LC and tried to help and give me tips on subjects I did that he didn't. Everyday in school I could see him helping others by teaching them things they need to learn before a test or just in general. I recommend using Jan's service as it will benefit you massively as how it benefited me, he adapts his teaching to each person and takes his time to ensure the person he's helping understands.

I started my leaving cert year getting around 5% on average in maths since I didn’t know a good way to learn. Throughout the year with Jan’s help I started to progress rather rapidly which resulted in me getting 60% on my leaving cert math
