About Izabella
I am a recent San Diego State graduate where I received a Bachelor's of Science in Child and Family Development alongside a minor in English. I was recently admitted into the San Diego State Teaching Credential 2024-2025 program to obtain my multiple subject teaching credential. My career plan is to become an elementary teacher in the San Diego area. I have worked as a preschool program leader, children's birthday party host, gymnastics camp counselor, and a children's dance teacher. I have a passion for childcare and education that has allowed me to enjoy and thrive in these job positions. I look forward to bring that passion into my future career as a teacher.

Through my experience being a teacher program leader and internships at local San Diego Elementary School, I have developed a style of teaching that is unique to each student.
- Find out a students interests and incorporate them into lessons to increase and keep engagement during lessons
- Ask scaffolding questions that lead the student to finding the answer on their own
- Practice!
- Identify students strengths and weaker points of understanding to create a plan towards skill growth
I am open to tutoring any subject in the elementary and middle school range. I am very open to tutoring high school age students in English and Writing. I am open to editing essays and giving constructive feedback for them to improve their writing in their own words.
