About Rachel
I have worked as an educator for almost 10 years now, with ages pre-k to high school! My heart as a teacher lives in elementary education, with a specialty in math and literacy. My duel major at Rowan University was English, so I have a huge passion for literacy and everything that comes with it! My students call me Mrs. Saul and I am extremely organized, but know it is essential to be flexible as an educator. My goal is to set my students up for success.

Although my class is a team, I teach a class of individuals, not a whole. Everyone works best at their own pace. I try to exemplify this in my lesson planning; allowing time for flexibility as needed. I use many teaching methods to reinforce my lessons such as visual aids, manipulatives, digital media, and written information. I am very good with technology, and love to incorporate it as much as possible to engage my students to the best of their abilities. Building a rapport with students and families are the key to success. This helps understand what each student needs, for me to help set them up for success!
