About Elizabeth
My name is Elizabeth Dawson and I am a student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, completing a Bachelor of Music (Perf) on trumpet.
I have experience in individual trumpet lessons (2020-) and group lessons taking trumpet tutorials in schools (2021-).

As a teacher, I am prepared to take on students from all ages with little to no experience on trumpet. I have a strong passion for the instrument and aim to pass this on to all my students. I believe that having fun and developing an appreciation for music is the most important part of learning any instrument. In my lessons I incorporate learning the basics of trumpet technique (fingering, embouchure, scales etc.), as well as pieces that are enjoyable to practice and a healthy challenge to the student.
