About Rahel
Hello! I am a sophomore university student who is majoring in English writing. I have edited high school and college level pieces for the past two years, so I would be happy to guide you through the (scary!) process that is essay writing. In addition, I scored 5s on my AP Language and AP Literature exams, allowing me to provide tips and tricks to passing.

I believe in speaking with students as oppose to speaking at them. During our first session, the student and I will create a main goal that is to be acheived by the end of our time together (writing an 1 page paper; analyzing a book correctly given a series of questions etc.). Going forward, our opening activity will always be focused on the main goal (usually a warm up that takes no more than five to ten minutes to complete). The rest of the session is up to the student: they can ask for help with homework, a paper or exam, or grammar and writing skills. If they are preparing for an AP exam or standardized test such as the ACT or SAT, I will work with the student to develop a one to two month schedule to prepare for the essay, reading, and grammar sections.
