Martin was recommended to me by a Physics tutor to help me with Chemistry. I was having lots of trouble understanding the shell structure of of the different elements as well as balancing and doing calculations for the various chemical reactions. In our first lesson, he wanted to understand how he could help me - what were my pain points, what I wanted to cover and what was my goal in the subject. In our next lesson, he gave me a plan on how he wanted to meet my targets. Over the course of a couple of months he really helped me understand the subject a lot better and more importantly gave me confidence in solving questions myself. If I would get stuck, he would try explaining it from a different point of view and that really helped me understand the different topics a lot better. In my exams, I did a lot better than I expected and I was very very happy on how our lessons went. He was super flexible in his timings and is very good at explaining abstract concepts.
