About Julia
My name is Julia and I'm a 24 year old History graduate from Oxford University.
I'm always excited at the prospect for instilling my love for the humanities in my tutees. I'm enthusiastic at teaching across the board at primary level to specialised A-Level subject guidance, with the great ability to help students with their personal statements and UCAS applications, for Oxbridge and beyond.
I have tutored children of primary school age across a variety of subjects. From this, I understand the need to break content into digestible and enjoyable segments and enjoy utilising a variety of learning techniques to make the content fun. After graduating I worked for a number of tutoring agencies helping A-Level English, History and Politics students with their GCSE and A Level exam preparation and personal statements. I pride myself on helping students to craft personal statements that do justice to their drive and curiosity to explore their chosen subject. I focus on perfecting examination technique for older students whilst instilling a love for detail and creativity amongst all.
