About Vera
My passion for engineering was born from a desire to understand how things work beneath the surface. From dismantling everyday objects to creating small experimental designs, I was driven by curiosity long before it became a profession. That early spark grew into years of study and experience in applied engineering concepts. As an educator, I bring both structure and imagination into my lessons. I focus not only on formulas and theories, but on the way ideas are formed, tested, and realized. I encourage questions and experimentation, as these are the true foundations of engineering growth. Outside the classroom, I constantly explore new designs, technologies, and innovations. Whether studying modern infrastructure, renewable energy, or mechanical advancements, I stay connected to real-world progress. This allows me to bring fresh perspective and inspiration into my teaching, helping students see themselves as future creators, builders, and innovators.

Engineering is where creativity meets logic and ideas transform into reality. In my lessons, students are introduced to engineering as a process rather than only a subject. We explore how everyday problems can be analyzed, broken down, and solved through practical design, testing, and improvement. I begin with core principles such as forces, materials, systems, and energy, allowing students to understand how objects, structures, and machines function at a fundamental level.
As confidence grows, students move into structured design thinking. They learn how to sketch ideas, plan prototypes, calculate measurements, and predict outcomes. I incorporate project-based learning so they can simulate real engineering challenges such as building simple bridges, creating circuits, or designing mechanical systems. These hands-on experiences sharpen their analytical abilities while strengthening patience and discipline.
With time, students begin to approach challenges like engineers — logically, carefully, and creatively. They develop resilience through testing, failing, redesigning, and improving their ideas. This process teaches responsibility, innovation, and persistence, allowing them to trust their reasoning. Engineering becomes more than a subject; it becomes a mindset that empowers students to shape solutions for the world around them.
