About Edward
Hi, I’m Edward — a First Class Engineering graduate from the University of Exeter, with a strong academic background in maths and physics. I achieved an A* in A-Level Maths and an A in Physics, and I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand these subjects more clearly and confidently. I started tutoring by helping my siblings and classmates, and found real satisfaction in breaking down difficult concepts and watching their confidence grow. That’s what inspired me to start offering tutoring more widely. I’m available over the summer to support students in any way they need — whether that’s preparing for the year ahead, building confidence after exams, or just keeping their skills sharp. If students would like to continue into the new term, I’m happy to offer that too. I’m friendly, reliable, and committed to making lessons clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs.

My approach is clear and patient— I break down complex topics into simpler steps and adapt each lesson to suit the student’s pace and goals. Lessons are usually around an hour long, but I’m flexible depending on what works best for you. I've supported siblings, classmates, and family friends in the past, and I always aim to make maths and physics feel less intimidating and more manageable. Whether you’re preparing for exams, resits, or just want to build confidence, I’d be happy to help.
