About Akshaya

I am an engineering student, specializing in the field of Computer Science Engineering from SRM University. If I can have a positive impact on their future, I feel I am doing my job well. I am an effective communicator, both in writing and verbally and I have a strong ability to plan and organize effectively; something which is crucial to the role of a competent teacher.

About the lesson

Real life examples are a key to study any subject and understand them better. My whole methodology lies on real life examples. Usually people ask what real life example can we give while teaching math. Mathematics is basically used everywhere and its a beautiful subject. I usually give out test samples that are easy for them so that they do well. When they see their score, they start to believe they can do it. This is a huge confidence booster. I’ll continue to add just one or two challenging questions but continue to make it doable for their level. I like to encourage students to ask questions and really understand subjects. I find non-traditional methods, to be particularly effective.
