About Caroline
I am a college student currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering. In my high school career, I have taken many math levels, from Algebra I to Calculus III (Multivariable Calculus), including many math-heavy science courses such as AP Physics C. I also like doing visual arts in my free time, and like using visual methods to help students understand the reasoning behind a specific math formula and to help them derive those formulas instead of retaining them through memorization alone.

I try to help students understand math in a more physical and visual way, including introducing more visual methods of deriving certain formulas and understanding those key formulas rather than memorizing them. A typical lesson plan starts with understanding what the student needs--their strengths and weaknesses, and customizing the tutoring to fit their needs. Lessons are for middle school students through high school, from Algebra I to Calculus II and Physics in general.
