About Jules

I’m an English and Professional writing student just two courses shy from completing my Specialized Honours BA at York University! I have received numerous scholarships, been published twice through York’s Professional Writing Students’ Association, and worked in professional writing for over 3 years.

About the lesson

The first goal I have as a teacher is to meet the needs of my students. I don’t believe one fixed method is the “right way.” Instead, I will work with you to find your writing style and your voice, your way.

In addition to teaching writing skills, I have specific interests in: multimodal writing, social justice and equality, LGBTQ issues, Indigenous Canada.

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Jules.

Perfect! Jules is a very good tutor. My son’s grades went up, he is now much more confident when it comes to writing essays or discussing something in class. Highly recommend.

Jules has been a great help with improving my writing. We work on academic writing at the college level, and I always figure out what I want to say and how to say it appropriately with their guidance. I would highly recommend Jules as a tutor!
