About Lara
During my time in Montpellier and Beijing, I taught after-school English classes and provided one-on-one tutoring sessions. The classes contained from four to ten students at a time, and the ages of my pupils usually ranged from 7 to 14, although I also gave the occasional class for adults. During these classes I had to find a way to combine the textbook work assigned by the academy with some more fun and interactive activities that could keep the children engaged.

I like to use games, songs, and art in order to teach. I love art and all things creative, such as dancing, singing, storytelling, drawing. I have been taking part in theater productions since I was 7, and I think it is a perfect way to practice new vocabulary in a fun and flexible setting. I aim to use much of these interests in my teaching, particularly with children.
