About Iona
I am a creative writer with a passion for Greek history and drawing. I have previous experience tutoring primary 7’s in English and History. I have also helped fellow university students. I’m happy to work with students from primary to high school level that are struggling with various areas of English - such as grammar, vocabulary, essay writing, creative writing or just text interpretation. I have previously approached lessons, first, with an informative process, then an exercise to show understanding and, finally, a report to showcase their talents in relation to lesson content. This content can be negotiated, I am flexible with client needs. I am happy to revise specific areas of difficulty and advise on revisional texts, essay writing techniques, and exam expectations. Teaching methods will also be flexible to student needs.

Details
I’m happy to teach primary school students at the £10 p/h rate.
High school students may have a higher rate depending on the difficulty or preparation time involved in creating lesson plans; this will be no higher than £15-20 p/h.
Cost travel would be much appreciated if I am to be tutoring in the student’s home.
