My background is in tourism, Japanese language services and English tuition. I have two years experience teaching English and I am running my own English teaching business in Cairns, Queensland. I have a Professional Certificate in TESOL and a Degree in International Relations and Security.

I base my classes on active and practical conversation skills. Each student is different and by having a lot of conversation I can understand clearly which areas students need to work on. It also allows me to use examples and situations based on the students' experiences and interests. I also try to have LOTS OF FUN during the lesson because being happy and entertained is the best way to learn a language.
