About Riley
I am currently a Pre-Service teacher in my last year of school studying to be a high school English teacher. I am currently student teaching in a 9th grade English classroom, and a senior level AP Literature and Composition class. I have always enjoyed the subject of English and hope I can teach other students to love it as well! I have 4 years of experience tutoring students.

My teaching method is that of a Facilitator and a Blended teaching style. I tend to have an activity style approach to teaching that requires students to develop their critical thinking skills. By developing these skills, students will be able to ask questions and also explore different solutions for answers. I tend to model lessons rather than lecture at students. Lecturing tends to have students zone out, therefore by modeling lessons, students will be engaged and further aid in their comprehension.
