About Anne-Marie
Hi,
My name is Anne Marie and I live in the UK. I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for over 10 years now in various countries around the world.
I have completed a CELTA and a DELTA and continue to do professional development workshops as I think it's important to keep learning.
In my free time I enjoy hiking and spending time with family.
Learning another language can be scary at times, but I'm here to help you along your journey and look forward to teaching you.

I believe that lessons should be fun, adaptable to meet the needs of the learner and that teachers should be approachable and friendly.
My lessons
Introduction:
My lessons are topic based and start with a few general questions relating to the topic to get your schemata going. We then cover a bit of vocabulary relating to the topic checking meaning and pronunciation.
Main Body of the Lesson:
This will then be followed by the main part of the lesson ( reading, listening, speaking, writing or grammar) which is followed by tasks to personalise what you have learnt.
End
Lastly, we will have a quick review to check that we have met the aims of the lesson.
Time
Lessons are for 1 hour over Zoom and aimed at teenagers and adults.
The first lesson is free and for 30 minutes. This lesson is to find out what you want to get out of the lessons and will help me tailor them around you.
Levels
I teach Elementary through to intermediate students.
Experience
I have been teaching EFLfor over 10 years now in various countries such as the UK, Vietnam, China, Argentina and Cambodia. Most of my experience has been classroom based in private language schools and at a college here in the UK. I am also able to help prepare learners for the Trinity ESOL exams from entry 1 to 3.
