About Shae
I am a graduate of Hunter College where I completed my studies in English magna cum laude with special honors. I have experience tutoring high school level english and history in preparation for the Regents, IB, ACT and SAT exams. I also have personal experience with AP and IB level courses, both college entrance exams, and college level courses up to the 400s level, in all of which I received top marks. I am a published critical essayist and have ample experience with crafting successful resumes and cover letters.

What makes English great is that almost any answer can be the right answer as long as your argument is effective. Once you have a decent arsenal of literary and linguistic techniques under your belt and know how to apply them, constructing an argument becomes simple.
I can give you the tools to excel in college entrance exams, AP, IB and Regents courses, and college level courses up to 400 levels, all of which I have personally excelled in myself and in many of which I have direct experience as a tutor. My skills are not limited strictly to literary analysis and I can also help to construct essays or prepare for exams in areas of history, art history, philosophy, anthropology and cinema studies. Moreover, I am happy to assist in bolstering your English skills in your professional life by helping you to craft cover letters and refine your resume.
