About Carley
I am a higher level teaching assistant from Bristol working in schools and colleges since graduating university. It has been my passion and privilege to work with individuals with a variety of learning needs to achieve their educational goals. I have interests in live music, film, stand-up comedy, travelling, rambling, cycling, world history and culture, writing fiction, cooking and reading. I own a motorhome and like to travel around the UK with my cat meeting interesting people and having new experiences.

I am offering English and Maths GCSE and functional skills exam revision practice, homework help in any subject up to GCSE level and tutoring for all abilities and ages. I can also offer English language tutoring to speakers of other languages. I can provide compassionate support with personalised tutoring to suit individual needs. I am flexible with lesson times and lengths. I can also provide mentoring for individuals who are in need of pastoral support. I have experience helping people manage their personal wellbeing within an educational setting.

I can't rate her high enough. I'm a mature adult who has struggled my entire life with poor literacy skills and was anxious about being judged.
Carley was extremely patient with me and explained things in ways that made absolute sense, after years of being pretty clueless!
I would say that the mark of a good teacher is someone who is flexible enough to taylor the lessons to the individual person and be blessed with extreme patience and respect.
