About Reya
My name is Reya and I have loved English as a subject ever since I first went to school! I achieved high GCSE's and A levels, studying essay based subjects including English Literature and History, and my time at Oxford University studying English Language and Literature has only boosted my passion for my subject. I am a confident and enthusiastic person with a love for theatre and poetry, I love reading all manner of books from graphic novels to Thomas Hardy and I write poetry and plays myself!

My tutoring style is centred around fostering a positive environment where my students can feel comfortable to ask questions and try new ideas. I believe the best way to learn is through experimentation and through my enthusiasm for my subject, I can help you in your journey to better grades! I have experience in tutoring students of Secondary school age, but my skills are transferable due to the command I have of English as a subject. A typical lesson would be an hour to an hour and a half, focusing on detailed discussion surrounding the work, as well as exercises and practice essays to improve the student's understanding. My lessons can be for anyone, as I can adapt my style to suit any level of experience!
