I am an older teacher with 10 years experince in teaching social studies subjects to English Language learners. I am passionate about teaching English, history, and geography. I enjoy learning and teaching about different cultures. I am fluent in English and Spanish and I am currently working as an English Resource teacher ina high school.

I enjoy teaching as a story teller and my techniques in teaching usually involve using many visuals and examples. A typical lesson will begin with an introduction or objective of what the learning will be. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am relaxed at what I am teaching because I enjoy doing it and I like to get to the point of the objective as soon as possible making connections. My lessons are for high school levels 9th thru 12.
