About Richard

I am a friendly and patient native speaker, who is Delta-qualified (University of Cambridge) and holds a Master's degree in Linguistics (King's College London). I have more than ten years of teaching experience, both in the UK and abroad. I have taught general English to all levels and have also taught FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL and IELTS preparation classes, and English for Academic Purposes (inc. essay writing).

About the lesson

My lessons are all about you. They are about finding out where you are now and where you need to get to, then deciding how best to get you there. I want to give students the confidence and skills they need to achieve their goals.

really enjoyed my lessons with Richard, he helped me overcome my fears with English and he is a great teacher for IELTS preparation! ;) I needed an average of 6.5 (6.5, 5.5, 6.0, 6.0) and without him, I got a 6. After my lessons with Richard, I managed to get a 7.5 (8.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.0) without any effort during the exam! 100% Recommended
