About Isla

My interest in English developed through a passion for communication, literature, and education. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Education and have spent the last 8 years helping students improve their language skills. Teaching gives me the opportunity to support learners as they work towards personal and academic success.

I believe effective language learning should be practical, engaging, and encouraging. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, adaptability, and helping students build confidence through consistent improvement. Every learner receives personalised guidance throughout their learning journey.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, and exploring different communication styles and cultures. These interests help me bring fresh and relevant material into lessons. Helping students discover confidence and enjoyment in English remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my profession.

About the lesson

My English lessons are designed to help students communicate effectively while developing strong language foundations. Topics such as grammar improvement, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, pronunciation, listening skills, writing practice, conversational English, and communication strategies are taught through engaging activities and real-world applications. I focus on helping learners use English with confidence and accuracy.

Each lesson is customised to match the student’s goals and learning needs. Learners improve through discussions, reading exercises, listening tasks, writing activities, and guided speaking practice that encourage steady progress. As confidence grows, students become more comfortable expressing their thoughts clearly.

I maintain a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and learn from mistakes. Consistent practice and positive guidance help learners achieve meaningful results. My goal is to help students become confident and independent English users.
