About Frankie
I am a student at Durham university and have been tutoring for 3 years now. I offered weekly lessons with GCSE students tutoring them on English Literature content and exam technique, as well as content in Philosophy and Ethics. Each of my five students attained 7/8/9s (equivalent to A/A*s) this past exam season. I have also tutored family friend’s children, so it is safe to say I have a breadth of experience.

My teaching method is flexible as I make it student based, so I will adapt depending on the students’ needs. However, when it comes to English lit as the main goal is being able to write and essay, I would focus on the content doing mind maps and pop quiz type things, then work towards employing what they’ve learnt into paragraphs and teaching them exam technique.
