About Jenna
I graduated with a First Class (Hons) degree in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh last year and, since then, have been employed in the publishing industry. I currently work as a book editor for an independent fiction publisher.
In my third year of university, I provided weekly private SQA Higher English tutoring sessions. My student achieved a B in their final exam as opposed to the D they were predicted to get.

I adapt my lessons according to how the student learns best and strive to make the experience of reading and discussing books as interesting and enjoyable as possible for each individual. In the past, I have found that lessons consisting of various activities (e.g. a combination of verbal discussion and written practice questions) keep students engaged and achieve the best results.
