About Amelia
I have just graduated with a 1:1 in BA English Literature and Creative Writing.
I have previously been a mentor and tutored GCSE students in Health and Social Care.
I received tutoring for GCSE Maths, so I have noted the necessary skills used to help a student grow within their academic studies.
I am offering primary school level Maths, if required, but I specialise in English. I am also a Freelance Content Writer so I’m exercising my English skills daily.

For my teaching methodology, I like to base my teaching on an individual basis, so that I am able to nurture to each person.
I would do an initial assessment (not too pressurised - I understand tests can be extremely overwhelming for young children!) I would assess the strengths and weaknesses of each student and help them to excel in both of these areas. Based on the school curriculum, I would then set exercises that help the student to progress within these particular areas.
If there are any particular focuses that you or your child wants to look at, I’m also happy to accommodate to your needs.
