About Tanisha
I began taking my first GCSE exams at 14 years old and achieved a total of 15 GCSES all A**-B grades. Despite this, I really struggled with conventional teaching methods and structures - I didn’t understand the traditional template to learning. I began to self tutor myself, taking better understanding from books and other literary students. This experience provided me with so many new perspectives on how to approach my studies and look at things. I proceeded to tutor Y8 students at Archer Academy on a voluntary basis. I believe the easiest way to learning really is as simple as discussing and sharing ideas rather than be lectured. After college I decided to further my distance from traditional learning. I declined my university offers and moved to Paris for a year where I tutored under 10’s in basic English and French and decided to study french literature in my free time. Now I work as a flight attendant alongside my pilot training, but when I’m not in the skies I’m grounded in my books!

Student is 100% in control of where they need additional support, at the end of the day I am here to help!
I teach GCSE level -Y7-Y11. 1-2 hours lessons, with a consultation prior to understand your level of need.
Happy to have particular structured lessons that go through an entire module piece by piece, or create personalised lessons that focus on areas of need. A key part of achieving A-A** grades is going above and beyond when it comes to researching and outside the box thinking. There are so many niche ways to approach studying Literature and I hope to introduce you to a new way of looking at things!
